Our Story

Our Story

Alan Bouterie Sr. started as a sole practitioner providing legal services to the residents of St. Bernard Parish.

That has now grown into The Bouterie Law Firm APLC, with several lawyers and customer friendly staff who provide expert legal representation in the areas of personal injury involving motor vehicle accidents and slip and falls, bankruptcy, wrongful death claims, disability claim disputes, criminal charges and several other areas of law.

Our lawyers are supported by experienced support staff and cutting edge technology that is updated regularly. Together, we are committed to exceeding our clients’ expectations by providing comprehensive, expert legal representation and superior client service.

Philosophy

Philosophy

There is an art to formulating a legal strategy. There is an art to settling a case while still achieving the maximum result for a client. There is an art to preparing and presenting a case to a judge or jury at a trial.

These skills take time to develop, and the attorneys at the Bouterie Law Firm, APLC have over fifty years of combined legal experience. Despite our legal achievements, we have no interest on resting on our laurels. We are always striving for excellence, always making sure that we are up to date on the most recent changes in the law, and always making sure that we are able to utilize technological advances to the advantage of our clients.

Honest. Experienced. Aggressive.

These are attributes that we pride ourselves on. It is important to be honest with a client and to tell him or her what he or she needs to hear, not what he or she may want to hear. Experience is important, not only in the courtroom, but in depositions, at the mediation table, in drafting legal pleadings, and with dealing with other attorneys. Our attorneys have experience in all of these areas. Being aggressive at the outset of the case is just as important as being aggressive when you walk through the courthouse door. We assure you — our attorneys are aggressive when the case demands it.

Simply, when you hire the Bouterie Law Firm, you have a group of lawyers who have different strengths and backgrounds who are committed to your case, committed to the practice of law, and who collaborate to get the results you are looking for.
